After a decade in corporate communications, I made a huge pivot to stay home with my three sons. It became a time of spiritual growth and a chance to pour into the things that truly matter—faith, family, and community. Writing has always been my way of making sense of the world, and Always Editing was born out of that need to share, connect, and encourage. Whether it’s through mentorship, prayer, or simply laughing at life’s unpredictability, this space is a reflection of lessons learned and grace received.
I never expected to find my calling in the messy, unfiltered moments of everyday life, but that’s exactly where God has met me time and time again. If I can help even one person find hope, strength, or just a reason to smile, then every word written here has been worth it. Serving as the Gospel of Life chairperson at the largest Catholic parish in Indiana opened my eyes to just how many people are searching for hope. I’ve met caregivers, parents, survivors, and seekers—all trying to navigate life’s complexities with faith. That’s what Always Editing is all about: reminding each other that no one has to walk alone. Life is a work in progress, and with God’s grace, there’s always room for growth.
I even did a little advance work for you! Feel free to check out my resources and support page if you need a place to start looking for resources for a specific concern or struggle in your life or those of a loved one. There might be a book, a website, a treatment center, or a counselor that might be a good start for you as you research your options! I'm just one friend sharing what I have found so far. If you have a resource you think others would benefit from knowing about, please contact me! Let's help each other.
I'd love to hear from you!
