Life is messy, unpredictable, and sometimes downright hilarious—but faith and encouragement make all the difference. Based in Carmel, Indiana, with Always Editing, I'm offering a unique blend of Catholic wisdom, community, prayer support, and real-life storytelling. Married 30 years to my high school sweetheart, Tom, we have three sons, one daugther-in-law, and one more beautiful young woman becoming a Thieme "officially" this May. We are parishioners at Indiana's largest Catholic parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel where my passion project is the Gospel of Life ministry which aims to educate, inform, and engage with others on how every life has dignity and all of us are deeply loved.   

I've always loved writing, and I spent 10+ years as a corporate communications professional writing everything from press releases, and corporate reports to magazine and newspaper articles and editorials. I can certainly write serious content, but I prefer the more "stream of consciousness" style that seems to allow others to feel a bit more connected-- despite that fact that means all my words aren't tidy (or even grammatically correct) at times.

I'll be covering everyday life in central Indiana and beyond in this space. I hope you'll hear some raw honesty, smile a little, and leave feeling encouraged. Who can't use some sunshine?
